Love the thrill of the hunt? We offer approx 500+/- private acres for hunting with on 4 seperate parcels. Two of the four private parcels are adjacent to approximately 10,000 acres of public state park hunting at the Hillsdale Wildlife Area. There are eight feeders and seven tree stands located throughout the properties, as well as four portable ground blinds available for you to use. All the parcels are located within a short walk or drive from the farmhouse.

1) To check availability, click the “Check Dates” calendar link under each parcel. Use the calendar to select the dates you would like to book. Once you have selected your dates, you will be emailed an approval number and a booking confirmation. IF you prefer, you can email us at waderanches@gmail.com with the dates you are interested in and we will check availability for you.

2) Once you have received a confirmation email with a booking approval number, please use the “SHOP” links to book your 3 DAY MINIMUM HUNT and if desired, ADD-ON DAYS.

Our Waverly listing is where our home place is. The property offers two parcels of 140 acres and 50 acres, separated by a neighbor’s parcel of thick timber. This is a very open property, with all cover being pretty limited to bordering parcels. The property does have ample food sources in our ag fields, which is the primary use of these acres.

Our Indianapolis listing features some of our best hunting. The property is 140 acres total,
consisting of bean fields and timber fingers branching off a large patch of woods in the
southeastern corner of the property.

Our Bull Creek Bottoms property is made up of 105 acres along the Bull Creek. The ground is mostly made up of cropland with small brushy idents and a small stream with timber that cuts through the property. The southeastern edge of the farm is thick timber on a creekbed as well. The acreage is only 5 minutes from the town of Paola.

Our Vermont Road listing,located in Franklin county, is the farthest property from the Wade Ranch Farmhouse but has been a family favorite for years. It consists of 60 acres of croplands and timber. The Mosquito Creek runs through the southwestern part of the property. This property is only about 20 minutes from the town of Ottawa and access to Interstate 35, and about 45 minutes from the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Lodging in our 5-bedroom house will be on a first-booked, first-served basis, since it’s available as an option on all of our listings. The entire house can sleep a group of 12. If you book the house, you will have access to the entire house, your group will be the only group during your dates. No meals are included but the home has fully equipped kitchen. You will be able to utilize a primitive processing area and freezer. Prior to booking, feel free to check with us to see if the house is available.
